I just added a new post to my blog called Guilt By Association and I'm sure some, if not all of you can relate to this experience. Feel free to add your comments on the blog.

(My blog isn't graphic but I do write out the words v* and n* so that the general public knows what I'm talking about.)

Hey I like your blog - it reminds me of Pepto Bismal - ha ha

Your problem with 7-11 is very common. Your brain has associated the store itself with "DANGER!" The thing is, there is no danger. So if you can go into the store and tell yourself "I'm not in any danger" (which is true) and keep doing that -then you'll be doing yourself a big favour (in general, not just in regards to the 7-11 store). Then you can go in and buy something that's not packaged. The chances of anything being wrong with it based on the fact that you saw some vomit outside the store once are...zero. Right? Once you buy something and eat it and you're ok...your brain will start to be re-trained and this will be good.

You're right and I have gone back into that store since the incident but it took a very long time. The food is still unappealingto mebut I will definitely work on it.

    Thanks
