I'm so scared right now...

My grandmother was sick two days ago and again today.
She's diabetic and has been taking a ton of pain meds...which my mom thinks is why she's been sick...but never the less I'm really scared because thats how I caught the stomach flu last time was from my grandparents. And my mom has gone over to check on her today and I'm freaked she'll bring something home...

Also suddenly today unrelated to my grandmother's illness, my sister has a fever of 102. (She's 5)

I dunno if I'm at risk of getting anything that will make me V*...but I'm SO scared anyway ...What does everyone think?? Am I safe??

Pain meds, especially opiates, often cause nausea and v*, that's probably what's up with your grandma...as to your sister, she's a little kid, they're always getting fevers, whatever, maybe its something, maybe she won't be sick in any way, just steer clear of her if you can.

Well we've gone a whole day without my sister v* so I doubt she has a stomach flu.

I'm just completely paranoid about my grandmother, supposedly she has ulcers and they have been getting bad recently, on top of that she's taking ibuprofen left right and a center. Never the less I'm still afraid it's a Stomach flu

Ibuprofen and ulcers are not a good combo, trouble if you ask me. She is not feeling well due to her meds Im sure. Just be sure to wash your hands when around your sister or if you have touched anything she has. [img]smileys/smilies_02.gif[/img]
