I hate v* scenes in books too. I can picture it all too vividly! I love Stephen King's books, but he seems to find it compulsory to include v*ing!

I am reading 'House of Sand and Fog' by Andre Dubus III. I enjoyed the movie, but am enjoying the book much more.

As far as vomiting scenes in books. I actually like them. They feel somewhat cathartic for me.

Next on my list is 'Stiff-The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers' by Mary Roach.

After that I might have room for one more before school starts again and I usually don't get much pleasure reading in after that....

I'm not at all bothered about v* in books, tbh. I used to be .. but .. now I'm not.

I even read the one near the beginning of A Child Called It without flinching *feels proud* lol.

    I'm reading a lot for school ...

"Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zore Neale Hurston

    "Metamorphoses" by Ovid

    "Mansfield Park" by Jane Austen

They're all pretty good! Just sucks having to read them all at once.

Just finished it this morning. The ending wasn't bad -- the entire book I was interested in finding out how Tea Cake died. There was kind of a twist, but not that big and thrilling of one. If you're interested in finding out how he died I'd finish it, if not, I guess it wouldn't be that worth it.

I'm reading the Scarlet Pimpernel, Ivanhoe, and the Last of the Mohicans. All I can say about the latter is if my English teacher thinks I have run-on sentences, clearly she hasn't read that.
