The show "Obsessed"

So there's a new show on A&E called "Obsessed" and it's about people who
suffer from anxiety disorders. Mostly it's about OCD related to their anxiety
problems, but I thought there were some interesting parallels between their
lives and ours. The show goes through their treatments, and it's usually
exposure therapy.
None of it has been v* related, although it would be interesting if it was. I
was wondering if anyone's seen it? It might have some useful advice for us.

Oh, and I remember watching MTV's True Life: I Have OCD, and this one girl
did all her rituals to prevent herself from v*. So I think it all ties together.
You guys should watch sometime. It's on A&E.

I actually have the past 2 episodes tivo'd, I haven't gotten around to watching them yet. I know the first episode is about a germiphobe and im really interested in watching it! Hopefully this show can be useful to us. I wish they would have an episode on emet!

yeah an emet episode would be great! But it's so hard to treat through
exposure therapy.. so you can only really treat the anxiety surrounding it,
and not the getting sick itself, you know?
But watch them, they're really good! The second episode is mainly ocd, which
is interesting if nothing else.

I watched the first episode. It made me cry. The guy with the germs was so over the top. It just made me sad that someone would have to live in such a sterile envirnment like that.

I have seen both episodes. I was just thinking how would they do an episode on emet. Since the way they treat people's OCD is through exposure therapy. I think that it would make an interesting episode though.
