What would you do?

So today has been terrible. I just posted something about my mom feeding me corn that was old and had a panic attack over it. Feeling much better now and reasured that nothing is going to happen. But now I just talked to my friend that I've had plans with for over a week just told me that this boy she is friends with was really sick last night fever and v*ing the whole shabang. But she was with him like the whole night. She doesnt have the same fear as I do and likes taking care of sick people. Lucky her. I just dont know if I should go out with her. She said she feels fine but I know the incubation period is 24-48 hrs and it has only been 24 not sure what to do. I dont want to cancel our plans over this stupid fear but at the same time I dont know what I would do if she got sick and I spent the night out with her. I appriciate any insight.

i wouldn't be able to go........i just know the panic i would be in for the next week if i did........i'm sure that lots of people on here would be able to go......just not worth it to me.....sorry not much help

I would go, just don't hug her or touch her. And wash you hands a lot. Does she know about your phobia? If she does, then maybe she'll undersand.

Knowing me, I wouldn't go, just to save myself some anxiety. But if you wanna be brave, all you have to do is keep your hands clean, and don't touch her lol. You can't catch something just by breathing the same air.

Question is why did the friend v*? Did he drink alcohol or eat something bad or get motion sick? Because unless he had a virus, than there is nothing to even worry about.
