i am so sorry that you are having such a hard time especially being pregnant. if you can't eat alot you need to find foods that are really high in vitamins, calories, etc. like ensure drinks or something like that........do you have anything for morning sickness? maybe if you had something like that it would help you relax and be able to eat and drink.

get the gatorade and maybe try milkshakes.....protein, and calcium for you and the baby.......just try little bits at a time......keep reminding yourself that there is no reason for these to make you ill.....

please try hard.........you can do it

i am really sorry that you are feeling this way, but I have to tell you, your baby is THE most important thing and you have to get over this. You just need to realize that your thoughts are so irrational. You need to get over this. It is very serious, not to eat or drink anything especially water. You are harming your baby not only yourself...Don't be selfish, you have to realize that.

Yes please take care of yourself, you have a child in your belly that needs you! Can you sip on some gatorade or pedialite? If you're feeling sick it's probably because you are not eating or drinking. What made you go into the hospital? Can they give you some anti-emetics? They gave me phenergan when I was pregnant because I was losing weight. I hope you start feeling better!

I'm going through the same thing. So, you haven't gained any weight then?? I'm 15 weeks and haven't gained a pound... I have such terrible food adversions that it's making it nearly impossible to eat anything. You do need food for your little baby. I would try making smoothies. Yogurt, milk, fruit...that way it's not really "eating", but you get a lot of nutrition form it.

If you don’t eat or drink you will die. You will also get sicker by not eating and drinking. Besides you can still vomit bile or dry heave when you don’t eat or drink. That feeling in your throat is probably either philological or from dehydration. I wish you the best.

EDIT: Oh and the doctors that saw you were retarded not to take a person starving themselves seriously.

I was at this point a couple of years ago. Try drinking vitamin drinks to give your body back important vitamins, minerals and salts, try mint tea to settle your stomach as well as other herbal and fruit teas, and plain tasting foods like crackers, plain biscuits and bread to line your stomach so that you might feel well enough to eat other foods (because the longer you go without food the less your stomach will be able to cope with it and you'll get into a horrible cycle), and try heartburn medicines that are suitable for pregnant women as they neutralise your stomach acid - this will help you to feel less nauseous. Try fresh, raw fruit and veg if you can (try cucumber or something as this has a refreshing taste although not many nutrients).

If you start with these kinds of things you might feel like eating "proper" foods after a while, but you definitely have to eat something.
I hope this helps a little bit and I'm really sorry you're feeling so terrible.
Take care and feel better soon
