I haven't posted on here in a very long time, but I'm having a freak out moment right now.
My SIL has been living with us since January. She lost her job where she used to live, so she moved here to live with us until she found a new job and got back on her feet again. Nine months later, she's finally ready to move out. She applied for an apartment yesterday, is scheduled to move in October 9th.
My husband let me sleep in this morning, but came up shortly after he got up and said "I know you'll get mad if I don't tell you this, but she was up with v* and d* last night." Let me just say, I love my husband! He then proceeded to the bathroom to bleach it. I wiped down everything else she may have touched, sprayed the couch with lysol. He sent her back to her room to "rest" but really it was to get her out of there so we could disinfect. She says it's over. She had d* and v* a few times last night, but isn't anymore.
My husband just left for work. I'm so tempted to take the kids to my mom's just to get out of the house, but I'm afraid to let her have free rein of the house. I want to make sure I keep her out of the kitchen and stuff, and follow her around with bleach. She says she thinks it might be food poisoning. She went to a movie with a friend last night, then went to Panera Bread to have some soup because she has a cold. Could the soup have caused food poisoning? I don't think it's drainage from the cold. It sounded like it hit hard and fast like a sv or food poisoning.
Ugh, two more weeks and she could have done this in her own apartment, not exposing any of us!! This was my biggest fear having her move in. And we almost made it. Now I'm freaking out. I have a house full of daycare kids coming tomorrow. I will re-disinfect the house tonight before they come, but what if one of my kids gets it and exposes all the daycare kids? That would be a nightmare. At least my husband is off Monday and Tuesday, so if anyone is going to get it, it will probably happen those days.
