    Default Two odd questions

Hello, i'm new to this board..i posted in the "experiences" area...think that was the wrong place!

Anyways, I have two strange questions...one, is it true that your body build up immunity after you have had a SV?...i've read it is, and i have also read that you can get the same one right afterwards, if exposed again.

also, is it true the only ways to get it is thru the V particles, saliva or after a person uses the bathroom and u breathe those in?

what about coughing and sneezing? a girl i work with just came back after having a sv for two days, we work in the same area and use the same bathroom and i am totally terrified....i dont know what to do

I'm pretty sure your body builds up immunity to anything once it's had to fight it. It's not so common I don't think for you to get the SAME stomach virus right after the first one, but I would think there'd be different strains, like the cold and flu viruses.

As for the second question, you cannot breathe in a stomach virus. You must ingest the particles. So, if someone has a stomach virus and you breathe near where they've vomited, then you cannot get ill. This is why people on here will always advise to keep your hands away from your face and especially your mouth, and to wash your hands thoroughly.

The virus is not present in saliva.
