    Default Anyone in Seattle?

Hi, I'm new here. I've been emetophobic for as long as I can remember. I don't ever recall not having this phobia in my life, and I'm now 32 with an almost 3 year old. I can barely function when he is ill, and am in constant panic mode that he'll throw up again one day. I hate living like this, and feel hopeless/helpless. I'm currently taking Ativan to get me through the panic when I need it, but I know it is not the solution. Anyone here live in Seattle? Have you used a therapist and/or psychiatrist that has helped you overcome this terrible phobia? Thanks all!

Thank you so much! I'm hoping to find some locals who have worked with someone & had good success. Someone in the Seattle area who specializes in emetophobia would be a DREAM!
