Volunteers are wanted for an online treatment program conducted by Griffith University in Australia.
If you are over the age 18, have fluency in English and have internet access then you can apply to participate in an online treatment program for emetophobia.
This program is free.
To register your interest you can reply to this thread, or visit the website URL emetstudy org


This study will start in 2011.

No one will ever be asked to vomit.

The program will research the effectiveness of scientifically proven face to face treatments and evaluate their effectiveness online.

We will be updating the emetstudy website over the next month to include details about the treatment research.
It certainly does not involve NLP or hypnosis.

At this stage I would like to suggest that you simply register your interest on the web page emetstudy org.
There you can click on the email apply @ emetstudy org
I am building a list of people who are interested and I will send them an email when the study goes live.

i have tried the email thing to register for it and it came back what else can i do to registre???? i really really want to do this
im 28 going on 29 and have had this phobia since i was 4 or 5 and i have passed it on to my 4 year old son who is also extremly afraid of v* in all forms

The easiest way to register is to visit the emetstudy.org webstite and click on the email address apply @ emetstudy.org (The real email address does not have any spaces in it).
A number of people have registered already and more are welcome.

If this does not work for you then feel free to contact me again and I will be able to arrange something.

The emetstudy.org treatment is expected to start early evaluations in November and go live in January 2012.
The treatment program is all on the web much of it has been especially designed for the iPhone and other smartphones.

I used to study at Griffith University in 2007 and it is a fantastic uni and I would love to be involved in this study. Maybe something good will come out of it. Hopefully I am not too late. A new beta testing group is kicking off soon and I would like just a few more in the group. The program is free and you can find out more about it online. This group receives the full 12 week treatment but identifies any bugs or problems on the way. It is a great way to start early.
You must register on the www.emetstudy.org website - just tick the beta tester box.
