    Default sick after hysterectomy

I have been wondering about this for some years. I had a hysterectomy back in the 80`s, & I had hiccups & vted once the day after the operation. I had various minor procedures before that, mostly gyneacological without any problems, so why did I v that time. I have had tonsillectomy, wisdom teeth, & a sterilisation before that, & didn`t feel ill after them, so it can`t have been the anastheatic. I`m fairly healthy now, but I`m scared that I might have developed an allergy to anastheatics, & the same thing will happen again. do any other members have any ideas as to what could have gone wrong?

no two times are exactly the same with anesthesia. Sometimes a different drug is given, and the longer you are under, the more likely post-operative nausea is to set in. Stop worrying about what happened back in the '80s, and focus on today
