Default Does my son have SV?

My son had his first bday party on Saturday and 2 toddlers came that had JUST gotten over SV (I think one had been sick until 4 days before). Anyway, I was freaking out as I watched them go into my son's play area and put things in their mouth and touch everything. I was so preoccupied that I could barely enjoy the party. Afterwards, I wiped everythign down with antibacterial wipes, but not bleach as my son puts everything in his mouth and as much as I hate SV, I don't want to potentially have my son ingest bleach. Anyway, I was stressed all week waiting for him to get SV, and thought i was in the clear by Tuesday (72 hours after the party), but this morning when i went into his room, there was a huge pile of V in his crib! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was totally dry so he must have done it earlier in the night and not woken up. He acted fine all day and ate and drank ok. He never V'd again so far (it's now 9:17pm) and had no D... at least so far. I'm totally stressed and have tried cleaning with bleach, but because he's a baby, I'm constantly touching him and he's all over everything in my house and feel like there's no way to wipe everything over and over. I'm exhausted and stressed.

Do you guys think he has SV? it's weird that he hasn't V'd more or gotten D, and he's not acting sick? Is it too big of a coincidence that he V'd right after those kids w/ SV came over? I hate the SV season so much. HATE.

Doesn't really sound like an sv* if he only did it once and seems fine and has an appetite! If it was an sv* it was a very mild one and I doubt it would cause an adult to become ill. It sounds more like it WAS just a coincidence though; babies do v* for no real reason sometimes I think? xxx

Dose not sound like it to me at all. I would say it's one of those freak things babies do. Mine have done that before and i think it could have been upset tummy from dinner. Also if they drink a bottle before bed and don't burp enough that can make them v*.

GAH!!!!!!!! so after a day and a half of no symptoms since his first V yesterday morning, he just had a huge D*. I guess it IS SV!!!! I'm so stressed and tired and now I'm feeling nauseous. I've been washing my hands like crazy, but he's only a baby so I'm always carrying him around he's been touching my face, mouth, everything - and I feel doomed to get it. I'm starting to feel nauseous and headachey and am afraid to eat. i'm actually afraid to go to sleep as i'm terrified of waking up having to V or something. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
