    Default First experience with anesthesia!

I had my wisdom teeth removed this afternoon, and I was absolutely terrified. There were several instances where I almost made myself ill from the nerves ^^; I've never been put under before, and it was absolutely terrifying to think about! I was, of course, very scared of getting sick from the anesthesia. But my mind was put at ease when I saw an empty bottle of Zofran on the table.
I had anxiety soon after the surgery that I would get sick, and I had the 'shakes' something awful. But I made it through! No nausea, no v*. I'm in a good deal of pain, but feeling great, even all drugged up on Vicodin.

I wanted to share this with anyone getting this procedure in the near future. I wasted so much time worrying, and I'm so happy to have it over!

Way to go! I had surgery a few years back and they gave me 3 different anti-emet drugs and i felt fine. So i think it is less likely now a days then before with all the drugs they have. Feel better soon.
