Need Help please

Hi ,
so last night I went out with my friend about 10:30pm for a drive , she works as a care worker and had just finished her shift when she picked me up , she said that she had finished so late because one of the ladies she cares for had just had really bad diarrhoea and was vomiting .... she had to clear it all up etc .... now obviously she told me this after i'd been with her for about half an hour, I was so pissed off because all my friends know how I feel .
So anyway I am freaking out because I have been thinking what if that old lady had a SV* is there anyway I could get it from my friend even though she obviously had no signs and symptoms of the SV as she'd only just been exposed to it ??
I wont be seeing her for a while now so I am not worried about them , I am just wondering if there is anyway that I could have caught it from the way I have explained ??
Sorry I hope this makes sense , I am in such a panic , I cant even write or think properly....

no, you need to ingest the virus. dont worry unless you licked her steering wheel or her hands you should be ok.

My daughter is carer, she works part time whilst at uni. Almost 2 weeks ago she came home after a night shift and ran upstairs to the bathroom making noises. When I asked what she was doing she explained that an elderly lady she had been lifting off the commode had d* and carried on going right over my daughters arm!!! Needless to say the latex gloves she wears didnt help much. Anyway she jumped in the shower and scrubbed herself raw but was convinced she'd catch it cos she has eczema on that arm which was flaring up and so making it easier for germs to enter her body through the broken skin. Thank God she was fine so please try not to worry. It doesnt sound like you put yourself at risk.

I didn't think you could get it thru your skin. I though the only way was thru the stomach?
