I`ve often wondered about why some people are more prone to motion sickness than others. I`ve never been carsick, but I had a problem on ferries when I was a teenager, fortunately I grew out of that, athough I wouldn`t go on a boat if rough weather was forcast. I`m wondering if it`s the balance organs in the middle ear that are faulty in travel sick people, or if the v centre in the brain is over sensitive, & while I`m on the subject, does anyone know why women seem more susceptible to travel sickness than men. That seems really unfair to me, being female!![]()
