    Default Flu shot side effects?

I had a flu shot today. Since then I feel really off. I feel kind of queasy (which is the part that scares me) I feel tired and thirsty. Is it normal to feel nauseated after a flu shot and dizzy?

My mom got her flu shot a few days ago. All she had was a runny nose and some post nasal drip. The nausea is most likely not related, and from worrying.

I had my flu shot on friday, i was extremely nervous going because it was the first one i have ever had. i had absolutely no side effects from it at all, neither did my boyfriend. the most i had was a sore arm, which i believe was because i slept on it that night. they use a dead virus now instead of a live one that way you dont get sick. if your feeling sick its probably from the anxiety or something un related to the flu shot. your going to be just fine!

I have heared that the flu shot this year is known to make you feel crappy the next day, but not with sv stuff. Only body aches, scratchy throat stuff because that's what the flu shot fights.

I would think that because the flu can cause nausea and vomiting in some people, feeling a bit queezy after the flu shot is a possible side-effect but highly unlikely you'll actually vomit so try not to focus on it too much (easier said than done) so you don't add anxiety-nausea to it. Take an anti-emetic if it'll give you peace of mind.

Yeah I felt a bit nauseous w/ a low grade fever and body aches after I got mine last year but it was not debilitating or anything. It wore off after a few days or so. Everyone reacts differently and experiences different side effects but you vomiting as a result of the shot are slim to none.
I wanna feel the change consume me,
    Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
    Cleansing I've endured within
    My shadow
