Constipation and d*?

Sorry for the crass title, but I suppose I had been suffering from a wee bit of constipation the last few days. Today - after some severe lower abdominal cramps - I finally had a bowel movement. About two hours after that I had some serious d*. (Again I'm sorry to be crass, this was a serious case of the 'hershey squirts.")

Should I just chalk this up to one of the mysterious of the human digestive track? I've still got some pain in my lower abdomen, but I also feel like I've literally pooped myself out.

Anyone here have similar experiences?

All the time.....

Think of your colon like a blocked pipe...leaves get backed up behind a blockage and starts to rot and turns to sludge...... It's exactly what happens when your constipated.... Law of nature....

I've heard the same thing. After the blockage comes out, the rest follows in a liquid form because the water wasn't absorbed by the intestines. It's hard to figure out. Was the d real watery or just loose?

This happens to me at least two or three times a month. It is totally normal. If it was pure water and lasted a whole, that would be an issue. But a little bit, maybe a couple times after, it ok.
