Default Immediate help and support needed - extremely distressed

    Hi all,

it was my birthday yesterday, and went with my other half to a fancy fish restaurant. Had lovely meal, and plenty of wine! However woke up a few mins ago feeling nauseous with a little d* and now my head is in a tailspin telling me I have FP. I don't feel unwell (yet) and don't feel like I will be sick (more of a heartburn sensation) but I am hysterical.

Its important to note I've been on two lots of antibiotics (one for cystitis and one one for an infected finger). I took a dose Sunday evening but gave myself 'off' yesterday as it was my birthday and wanted to drink. Yes I know not very responsible. But also whilst I have been on them I had quite bad nausea, upset tummy, etc. Could my symptoms now be linked to the tablets? Please say yes. I can cope if this is the case.

I am so upset and lost and so angry me phobia is destroying my birthday.

A lot of times my stomach is extremely upset the morning after drinking. I usually have d* one or two times, sometimes 3 depending on the night. Nothing more than my stomach being irritated by the excess of alcohol and lack of food. Maybe it's the same for you? If your pills haven't bothered your stomach before I doubt they would all of a sudden.

Yeah alcohol has given me d* before. The meds as I said have been making me feel sick, but not taken a dose for 24 hours (though I know antibiotics can still have a lasting effect in your system a few days after). I don't think it's FP as I don't feel unwell, or have a temp, etc. It was the d* that freaked me out most. I also have consider other factors like the fact I'm due on my period (always sends me tummy a bit haywire) and I've been under stress recently.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I don't think it was the food primarily, not really. It's a top restaurant and the food was gorgeous, felt totally safe eating it.

It's the middle of the night here in the UK, so things always feel worse at night, and very isolating. My boyfriend is asleep and has work tomorrow so don't want to wake him.

The nausea feels much better having taken an anti-emet. Just feel a bit crampy now. I feel hungry though so that can't be a bad thing!

Surely if it was FP I would know?!
