    Default Post Nasal Drip

So I've been battling a little sinus thing / allergies for the past month and today it seems I am having horrible post nasal drip. Every time I swallow I feel it going down my throat and I think its starting to effect my stomach. It keeps making noises, is very gassy, and just aches if I move a certain way. I do not feel n* at all. I was able to eat a bunch of food throughout the day. However, whenever the drip starts up again it aches and earlier today I was having some acid reflex coming up in class...my throat kept making crazy noises. Is this normal for nasal drip? Does it effect the belly? I took a Claratin D ..hopefully this clears it up!

Hey, I also have it as well since I also have GERD. It's worse at night and I always get a lump feeling in my throat, feel really icky and yes, it definitely makes your stomach feel off as well.

I have loads of allergies. Post nasal drip can be pretty yucky. However, there are several over the counter medications for it. I would not use the strong nose drops (those that are not just chili powder or saltine) very often, because I understand they can become addictive. If you can tolerate it, a nettie pot can be very helpful at drying out the nose. I have pretty much year round allergies, so I have a prescription for Zyrtec which I understand is also over the counter.
