You are actually quite darling for talking about it with her first. Some neighbors would have been too scared to confront her. She is simply one of those entitled, possibly histrionic, personalities, and that is barely your fault or issue. We're with you on this, as my neighbors do the same thing, and I love to keep my windows opened in the spring at night. Since I live in a more rural area it can be so refreshing....till they break out the weed.
