Default Full day with no anxiety

For the first time in about 4 months i have had an anxiety free day. Im thinking the citalopram ive started taking may be getting into my system. Ive not managed go out much but i did the supermarket and the butchers with no problem this morning!!!!

i hope this is day one of me controlling the phobia, i have my therapy tomorrow and i always feel positive about that.

When the imagination and the conscious will are in conflict, the imagination invariably gains the way. I think this quote can be used with emet ..... Your conscious will tells you you will enjoy a day out bu your imagination is riddled with emet saying you wont someone may v, you may v etc etc etc.

I had a pretty much anxiety free day today. I had a wobble in the supermarket and in a clothes shop but i battled thru. By the time i had done that i managed to go into two more shops so i treated myself to some new lingere, a top and some pants

So do i. Its only the past 4 months or so that my emet has taken over my life. Its always been there but it just randomly changed to me being scared of v in public. I think its coincided with me having gerd and my stomach being off all the time and i had constant trapped wind. I think that scared me and i was also taking metoclopramide for it which id taken sporadically for migraine nausea. I began having the worst panic attacks i have ever experienced. Literally pacing for 6 hours at a time. I chucked the pills in the bin and did a month with no anti emetic and the severe panic stopped. I just then started being unable to go in any public place for fear of v. Then i decided id got as far as i could on my own so went on the citalopram. I can feel myself improving each day i am far from back to normal but hopefully i will be soon. How do you deal with the anxirty?
