Default Does anyone else think this way?

Does anyone else think every time night rolls around that *tonight's going to be the night*? I think this way EVERY SINGLE NIGHT and it causes horrible panic attacks.

What about physical symptoms from anxiety? Does anyone get these so bad that it convinces you that you're ill?

I've had panic attacks so bad I thought I had an sv. They are awful! I remember one night in particular, my stomach didn't hurt at all but it felt kindof weird and empty, but my head went all tingly and i felt like v*ing then i had an urgent feeling in my lower stomach but had normal BMs..it was terrible. Once I calmed down I was fine.

I get throat nausea every night and physical panic attacks so bad that I convince myself I'm sick, even though I know it's just anxiety. But knowing it doesn't make my brain turn off. Aghhhh, never ending cycle!

I don't think of myself this way, I do think of this every night when it comes to my girls. I always wonder "is tonight going to be the night they wake up throwing up?", and I'm anxious about it all night if I wake up. My littlest did wake up throwing up a week and a half ago - she caught the sv her sister had 4 days previous. It sucked, but it's over, and hopefully now that they've had it twice in three months, maybe they won't get it again for a long time. Fingers crossed. I didn't catch it the second time, and when I caught it the first time I didn't vomit.

OMG I swear I wrote this post! Every single night I put the kids to bed and I look at them and wonder if tonight's the night! I actually showed this post to hubby and he goes "did you write that?" .....so yes I know exactly how you feel!

I definitely get phases like that when I think that way, but I try and find myself a good distraction and just ease my mind. Then I am fine.

Every. Single. Night. It is so stressful. I wonder what will happen....how I will react. When I was younger, I would stay up until 4:30am worrying. I don't do that anymore but I do think about it every night. Sigh.

I do this a lot too! Almost every day I'm like "Today is the day it's going to happen!" And of course nothing every single time...I'm working on training my brain to not think like this

Yeah I seem to have phases when I think like that. For the past few weeks I have been having a flare up with my gastritis & have woken up several times a week feeling like Im about to v*. This has really shaken me & so now Im dreading falling asleep cos Im just waiting for 'it' to happen

This happens to me on occasion. Fairly often in the last week or so, but I know I'm getting myself anxious because we have been having sporadic heat waves in between very chilly rainy days. A few people I know have been having tummy issues, seems like just general indigestion, upset stomach, cramping, but no v* and rarely d*. I just try to tell myself it's the weather affecting everyone though.

There are nights when I feel very panicked. Especially there are some nights when I wake up suddenly with a stomach cramp and am anticipating the nausea, but I get up to use the toilet and usually just have to poo... :\ It's kind of embarrassing that I let myself panic so much, but I usually just feel relief after and am able to sleep ok.

When I feel like I'm having a lot of trouble calming myself, I'll make ginger or chamomile tea. If I have stomach pains or cramping I drink ginger, if i just feel anxious and shakey, I drink chamomile. Mint tea is supposed to be good as well. I feel like a broken record recommending ginger tea all the time, but it really does help me a lot. I should have made my username Gingertea hah.

btw I also keep my trash can close to my bed, usually with at least 2 plastic bags in case ~it~ happens. Sigh...

I'm the other way around - the night is easy for me. It's the morning, and wondering what the new day will bring, that can get tough.
