    Default new here, baby v

Ok, I am new to this so bear with me. My 3month old woke up and v and it is kinda scareing me. Not that she don't spit up but it was more. It has been almost 1 1/2 hours since and I am nervous about feeding her again. I nurse her. There has been a nasty sv going around but its been 4 days since we were out last. Have 4 other children so I should be good at this but I just keep getting worse. Have been an emet since I can remember, not v since I was 12. Now I am 39 and am solo tired of this. Can't care for my little ones when there sick. Always panicking, rarely leave the house. Home school so my kids don't go. Everyone looks like there diseased to me anymore. Don't know what to do.....

Hi im glad baby is ok. My son had acid reflux and spit up all the time. All day all night. Even baby food. I was so scared in the beginning but i got used to it. Do you do any therapy? Its not good for you or your little ones to be at home all the time. I try to push myself and get out more. I find once i start going out it gets easier everytime i go.

Thank you, I am too. Hate when I over react like that. I have four older boys 13 down, and my daughter. We do go out some but me and my hubby are pretty much hermits. We like the outdoors away from people. He does not like being around people. What a pair right? I have always had a fear of v, but it got really bad after my 4th was born. When he was 6 wks old my kids all got the sv slowly, one at a time, put me in panic mode, quit eating, my milk dried up and wound up in the er with my midwife. They told me I had post pardom depression. After that I quit going out except for groceries. We camp and hike a lot. I think my boys picked up the not into people thing, they don't like being around more than one person at a time. Just tired of always having it in my mind. When I don't go out I don't spendy days worrying about it. Would love to get one of those recovery systems. Has it really worked for anyone?

    Oh sweet lady!
I totally understand your fears and know what it's like to panic and wait for the next victim, etc. I'm glad that the baby is better and that you can put your mind at ease. I agree that some therapy would do wonders for you, I just started counseling and after the 1st session feel better knowing that I'm doing something. You should look into it! Don't make yourself feel guilty about how you're living now, it's fine, but taking baby steps could set you free from the anxiety and fear that you're feeling. xox

Oh please let me know how that goes for you. I have read a few notes about some getting help and they were feeling so much better about things. But really only 1 or 2 that said they no longer fear it. I hope you are able to get to where you want to be with your counseling. I really do, for everyone that is here.
