I used to think I want to never v again and that's all I want.
But now I've come to the point where I cant stand those daily n and panic attacks anymore. I WANT to recover and eat again and not be constantly anxious. And eat out and bake myself a cake and be abke to look at v and think of it without panic and n!
I'll go to a psychiatry and hope I get the spot tomorrow. Maybe others should think of it! They're professionals all around you. Life will get better.

Hi I know how your feeling am at my lowest right now it's just a struggle to get through each day I feel exhausted I'm also thinking of professional help now think I've battled far to long on my own and need expert help I just want to eat I love food but hardly eat I just want to go out and feel normal :/ I hope u get the help u need on your journey to recovery. Life is to short to let this beat us

I feel the same. I hope you both get the help you need.

I've been having appointments with various therapists (psychologists, psychiatrist, counsellors etc) for my OCD for 10 years now but I'm going to make more of an effort to really work on my emetophobia- even if that involves pretending to puke , listening to puke noise and other nasty things!

Good luck guys! Imagine what we'll regret more in the future: getting a s.v. or letting the phobia steal life experiences!

Good luck you guys! It's a long and really hard journey at times, but once you kind of get over the hardest part, you look back and wonder why you didn't do it sooner. I know you can ALL do it!
