Default Does anyone here really like a show that often has a lot of v*?

I watch tosh.0 all the time but they have vomit scenes so often! I have to fast-forward through them really fast. Does anyone else like any shows like this?

I do. Breaking Bad has a lot of v* scenes in Seasons 1 &2, however they're mostly sound effects and not very much visual. Somehow it usually doesn't bother me unless it is awfully realistic in all respects to see it on TV.

I LOVE watching House. That has a lot of *v scenes in it, but then I guess that is to be expected as it is a medical drama. I don't know, I am not all that affected by *v on TV and in films to be honest as I know that it is fake (and a lot of the time it is not very realistic). It would not stop me from watching a film/TV show anyway. It only becomes a problem when it is REAL people *ving like on reality TV shows. Then I cannot watch and will not watch it again just in case. This has been the case for 16 Kids and Counting, One Born Every Minute and many others.

I don`t see the point in all the vting on tv nowadays. It`s not usually relevant to the storyline, it`s just gratuitous 7 gross!

I watched all 6 seasons of Skins UK on Netflix and adored that show, but there was tons of v*.

My boys love survival shows (Dual Survival, Man, Woman, Wild, etc.) and many of those get graphic and it is real. My oldest son flips out if someone IRL is sick or V in eye or earshot, but the survival shows don't bother him, and the foods they eat and things they do on those shows don't bother him either, even when he is laying in bed (he gets TV, Netflix and DVDs when he is sick) with a fever, etc. and already doesn't feel good they don't affect him. Of course, if he is watching these things I try to know what he is watching but I will turn away, get involved in a book, etc.

I don't watch South Park for this reason and it's only cartoon v. I don't get what's so funny about v and d - especially giving either to someone which seems to be relatively common in comedies anymore.

Oh man, Grace 47, the v* scene in the South Park movie "Team America: World Police" was one of the worst I've ever seen, even though it's just cartoons, glad I'm not alone in my disgust over that one!

I like untold stories of the e.r which has realistic simulated vomit scenes. I also like family guy ( so inappropriate don't judge me lol) but even though those ones are cartoon they can still be gross.

I should mention that I can watch vomit on tv without really being bothered if I know it's not real.

For me watching Drunk History is a bit scary. Its like playing a game of v* Russian roulette. I've gotten really good at being able to tell if a character on a show is about to *v and I'll get up to "get a drink" so I don't have to be around it.

I like Family Guy, and there's a lot of v* but it's cartoon and used mostly in humorous situations, so I guess it isn't that bad. I usually mute it or skip that part though.

I watch Southpark, and it grosses me out, but doesn't bother me as much since it is a cartoon. I watched the Jackass movies, and found parts really funny, but I have to turn away at the v* scenes, because they are real, and pretty graphic.

As soon as I saw the thread title, I knew that Tosh was going to be the subject. However, there is one show I used to watch simply because I hate emet and wanted to get over it somehow. It was on G4, and it was called "Hurl". It was a game show where people eat lots of food, then the last person to v* wins. People go on dizzying rides, and the challenges get harder and harder until all but one person have either v* or were disqualified. And all v* was real, unlikely most scripted TV. Watching this show steeled me a lot against TV v*.

I remember I was watching an episode of 16 and Pregnant. I got a rare phone call so I answered. I turned back and the girl puked on the floor while she was in labor and they showed it. Showed everything.

I don't watch 16 and Pregnant or any pregnancy shows anymore nope nope nope. Don't really watch tv, but not because of the phobia. I do hate when my cousins are over and watching Nickelodeon. Nick has some addiction to burping so I hate Nickelodeon haha.

i used to love love love House m.d. when it was on the air and i don't know how i survived that but somehow i didn't really mind it. it's weird that some TV/movies are okay, like House, and then some are awful. i wonder if it's realism or types of noises or something else. don't know. all i know is i can watch House where every other episode has v* and it's fine, but i had a panic attack for the whole rest of the day and had to walk out when i saw a movie about dolphins that only had a like 1 minute scene where one character on a boat got seas*. and just recently, seeing Pacific Rim (anybody see that?) was awful and made me feel s* and panicked too because there is a scene of v*.

i don't know the difference between the scenes that bother me and the scenes that don't, which is annoying! anybody else have that difference and know why for them?
