    Default Will these anti-emetics work?

I have sublingual (dissoluble under tongue) ondansetron (FINALLY) so i can actually exercise and take antibiotics more cleanly. As with most of new medications, I'm worried about its efficiency. I'm only taking these if I grow nauseated and it is def better than breaking phenergan under my tongue.

Is there anything I should worried about? Should i trust it to take the edge off of the nausea?

My stupid antibiotic course is running fine. I always have headaches, and my teeth itch, but I haven't vomited since I started these.

Well, they aren't meant for sublingual application, they are disintegrated pills meant to be placed on top of the tongue and to be swallowed. Huh. I'd rather have the pills instead. If I'm well enough to take a pill, I'm well enough to swallow the pill lol. Rather not taste the pill when i'm nauseated. Promethazine under the tongue doesn't carry a flavor.

Glad you feeling better. I'm very confused by your pills, you put them under your tongue or you swallow them? I'm sure they'll work fine but I think under the tongue works faster

They are -- if I'm reading these instructions correctly -- to be placed on top of the tongue, dissolve and then swallowed. Sublingual application instructs to place them under the tongue and let them dissolve there.

Weird I've never heard of that. I have heard of ones that go in your upper lip though

Dissolvable Zofran works great. It doesn't have a taste either.

The dissolvable onandestron will actually work very well, probably better than something you have to swallow if you are already v* or close to it. The only question is can you stand the flavor, if you can or they're flavorless there is no downside. Onandestron does have a downside though, it can cause constipation and headaches. Worth the risk if you are actually sick or being treated for a chronic condition that causes nausea but a bad choice for "just in case," and kind of expensive for that to boot.
