For future reference, we never truly know if n* and pains will cause us to v* or not. With that said, I've heard that emetophobes have some mental ability to keep themselves from v*. I know ginger, peppermints, or antacid tablets soothe the tummy. Also, focusing on something other than your symptoms can help. Play a video game, listen to music, watch your favorite TV show, read a book, work on a craft, etc. When I have n* spells late at night, reading helps me.
