Hi Babydoll,
Up until 3 months ago, I was on Dianne 35 too. The only reason that I stopped it was because my prescription ran out, and I have to find a doctor in my new area and register, before getting more.
I did still get spots (big, sore ones at times, especially on my neck and jaw line) while I was on it, but not as badly as before I went on it.
The last time I wanted a prescription for Diane, my doctor told me that he worried a bit about giving them to me, as they have just had results from a study that showed that it can cause brittle bones and Osteoporosis. Great.
My face was fine for the first two months, while I was off Diane, and I have been using a cream called Eskamel, which is foundation/skin colour, and seems to work really well overnight. But I would rather prevent them than treat them as they appear, so will be going back on the pill as soon as I can. (Also for contraceptive purposes though.)
My mom gets Eskamel from a pharmacy/drugstore for me in South Africa, and i'm not sure if you get it in the UK or anywhere else in the world. Worth a look though!
Sorry couldnt be more helpful
