Hi all!

To jumpstart my weekend of freaking out.....yesterday a little girl came into my office and she was coughing...I thought no big deal she has a cold, I can deal with that. Found out from her mom she had been sick to her stomach all morning! Then (same day) went to lunch with my friend...they went home 2 hours later sick to their stomach.....Last night I was hanging out with one of my friends she got a phone call from her daughter who was also getting sick to her stomach! ALL OF THIS IN ONE DAY!!!!!!

Needless to say I have gone into panic mode and just know I am going to get it! So as I head to work today I have my tums and pepmobismol!

I dont know why but I always feel safe in the summer like no one is going to get the flu in the summertime....I guess I was wrong in thinking so!

Hope you all have a much better weekend than I will be having

    Newbie-Christine

Oh man! That sucks, I am so sorry that you are having to deal with all of this. Just try really hard not to get overwhelmed by this. Use your good hygeine skills and everything should be okay.

Hey i am a new user and only 15. All i can say really is i have had times like that for example at school i was with my friend all day i sat by her in all lessons i then went to a sport competion with her aswell afterschool, the next day i came back to school and she wasnt there. I spoke to her brothher and he told me she had been sick. I was so scared and frightened i was so certain that i was going to get it, i had panick attacks and it was horrible i was 99.9% i was going to be ill. I was waiting and waiting and waiting and amazingly nothing happened. I was so relieved it was unbelievable. I know its hard but you have to tell yourself that you wont get it and if the worst comes to the worst and you do get it be strong and you never know it could be the start to getting over your phobia, i know its horrrible but keep your head up good luck!!! xxx
