Emetophobia... the fear that limits our lives. Emetophobia makes us so angry sometimes. We can't control it at all. We're all deathly afraid of a "simple life process." How about we get that anger out?

Grrrrr!!! It's hard to put it in words. It's more like you need to yell or scream it out.

How insightful! I'm have a way with words, so to speak, and I don't think I could say what I must in under five pages in font size 4.
the sad part is we do have control deep down, considering we created this fear.... but it's just SO deep down that it seems impossible to take the reigns. I AM ABOUT TO SPEND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS I DON'T HAVE TO TRAVEL ON 3 SMALL PLANES INETAD OF ONE LONG ONE YAAAAAY MEEEEEE
Yes, that is sad. I just wish I could take back some control over myself! Also, it's too bad that you've got to pay so much to go on planes where you feel much safer instead of cheaper commercial travel. I'm a frequent flyer, and it always scared me, yet nothing's ever happened on a plane or in an airport that was too bad to now have a severe panic attack over for me.
It always feels good to smash a plate and yell "BLOODY EMETOPHOBIA! GET SMASHED!" After doing that you get a rush of euphoria!
I just run out my door and do a few laps around my house til my heart is pumping and I'm out of breath. Then I shout. And laugh at myself afterwards.
Good, good. It seems smashing plates and running around for no reason, then screaming, can work. That's probably because, hey, what's a little more insanity in our lives?

I get so angry and frustrated at my self all The time. If I am totally honest, I get angry at other people too as I feel they are putting me and my family at risk when they don't keep good hygiene or follow the 48hr rule. I haven't found a way to deal with it and my poor husband gets the brunt of it. I get upset as I think my fear is now passing on to my son which is heartbreaking as I don't want him to suffer like me.
It's hard to keep all your anger within yourself. Don't get upset with yourself if you lash out at somebody else. Work on letting it out in other ways. When people don't keep clean, don't stay home while ill, or anything else is when you seem to last out the most.
