There has been sooo many times when friends have invited me out somewhere, just to their house or bowling or somewhere.. And I end up calling them and telling themI can't make it - because of feeling literally all over the place. I wake up really early and can't get back to sleep - I'm sweating and have pains in my stomach.

Recently it's been getting better - I force myself to go out and I usually feel reallys* as soon as I get out of the car and look up at my friends house. But it is getting better, and I'm able to get out and about more It's ruining my life but I'm getting over it slowly.. Hmmmm

    Hiya,

I know how you feel, the last time I went out i managed to stay out for 5 minutes then called my mum to pick me up. I feel sick just thinking about it and i get SO panicking whenever im without my "safety blanket" of my parents or friends. Im working on it-butlike most people say-itdoesnt get better when you get there. I constantly think up excuses and ways to leave etc. it's not very pleasant and a lot of people dont understand and think you're attention seeking!

Same! I would want to go out all the time! But now I don't and I stay inside all the time on the computer - so I've put on weight too

    heya

ur exactly the same as me... and a lot of us here i'd imagine.

i rarely go out socialising with friends, if i do it's to the cinema for a 2 hour film and thats all i can really manage at the moment.

since my parents have been told about emetophobia they are making an effort to take me places, so we went for a pub lunch and a walk by the local river e.t.c. to get me used to going out and stuff... and it does help. a lot of it has to be you though, and like u said u have been forcing yourself out, which is great. stay in control.

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn\'t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn\'t know that so it goes on flying anyway.
