I suffer from IBS and reflux both make living with emetophobia much harder because both come with symptoms that can mimic a sv*

IBS is one of the main causes of anxiety for me, it hits me first thing most mornings so I start my day feeling, well crappy really, a bad attack can last hours, the cramps are horrible, it causes n* that can last all day and leaves me feeling drained
It can hit me at anytime of day and at times has even woken me up at night which are the worst attacks I've ever had
It causes food anxiety because eating anything is enough to trigger it at times, and I do mean anything, I can have a d* attack minutes after finishing a meal and I've never found a specific trigger food
Imodium stops the d* but causes constipation which results in a worse attack later in the week or a night time attack and sometimes causes n* the next day but that could be a coincidence
And worst of all is the urgency and fear of not getting to a toilet on time, the need to go can go from 0 to 10 in seconds so i'm often left feeling like I've made it with seconds to spare which leaves me on edge for the rest of the day

IBS, acid reflux, possible POTS, and something called eosinophilic colitis which all make me feel very very n* >
