I've dealt with this phobia for as long as I can remember. My husband knew I had a problem but just thought I was a germ-a-phobe. He had no idea it went as far as anxiety during movies or even trying new food. He is just as wary about food poisoning as I am but he doesn't go into a panic every time his tastes buds change...

So I told him today about the website and all the fears and I'm not real sure how he feels about it. He did tell me I should go to a therapist or something, but I am still unsure what I want to do because I am embarassed to talk to a doctor about the issue. They never seem to understand. Any advice? I would really appreciate it. Especially since I'm not sure my husband is backing me 100%.
