Hey people
I am new to this site, My name is Dominic, I am 38 years old, from Uk, and suffer with that dreaded Emetopobia, I have been a suffer from about the age 4 years old, I think it relates back from when I was very ill, and had to have my appendicts, out, even though I can't really remember much about it, It has effected most my childhood and adult life, so I can totally understand how everyone feels, it can be a very lonely exsitance, with this illness, as non suffers, cannot understand what we are going through.
Gone through different stages with it,i had spout of about 10 years, when it effected minimum amount, but it was still always there, but copeable, until 2008, when my flat mate caught s stomache bug, then I totally freak out, and then i caught milder version, and was nearly sick at work, after that i kept replays in my mind, which cost me in the long run my job,I specially hate winter, as that tends to be noirovirus season...
The reason I joined this this site, is that last week I caught a stomach bug, and vomited in 3 different waves, it was pleasant, but i delt with it at the time, but it made my phobia worse again, as that keeps playing in my mind,, i went 34 years with out vomiting, so a big deal for me.
