For the past 4 days, i keep gagging, its like im really hungry, which then makes me gag, i eat something, feel om after a while, then i keep getting d* and start gagging again, then i feel starving like 2 hours after a meal and pudding, so i don't know whether to just eat when im hungry, im eating 3 meals and 3 snacks a day now, so its not as if im not getting enough food..but im getting hungry the whole time, im thinking maybe my body needs the food so much it uses it quicker and i feel hungry a few hours after..its very confusing.

Well I know that you have turned on a switch you might say and your body is going to try and make up for everything it has been denied. Keep eating and keep eating healthy. A handful of almonds, an apple, trail mix. I know I get gaggy when I get hungry and don't eat. It doesn't have to be a meal and it sounds like you are on the right track with 3 meals and 3 snacks. Maybe even cut it down to 6 smaller meals with a couple of snacks so tha tyou stabalize your metabolism.
Having denied your body so long it is not sure when its next meal is coming so will try and trigger hunger till it gets the nutrients, vitamins, minerals it needs to replace and store.
So keep a schedual to a point and keep it healthy.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, that your body is used to being in "starvation mode" so that you maybe feel hungry more often than normal in order to try and get as much as it can. That is a good idea too, the 6 smaller meals a day or so. I've heard this can be easier on the body and stomach to digest.

    Hey again..

I've just read this post after your other post about heaving in the night. What I posted about the pains being due to hunger sounds right after reading this post.

I think your metabolism is speeding up and your body is using the food faster than you are consuming it!

Maybe you need to start eating more foods that are 'low GI' such as nuts, pulses (lentils), baked potatoes, baked beans, noodles, porridge oats, yoghurts, wholemeal spaghettietcso that they keep you feeling full for longer and satisfy your hunger more. Any processed foods (frozen ready meals etc) are not really good as they only 'fill' you for a short period of time because they are so processed that your body digests them very quickly and easily.

Also cook everything on a lower heat for longer, as high temperatures destroy any nutritional value in the food, eg baked potatoes.

Hope that all makes sense - just pm me if you want any more advice - I have my boyfriends nutrition text book here so feel free toask away for any info!!
