Question anyone in the armed forces?

i would just like to hear from anyone who is in the armed forces as i am joining the royal navy and im worried as i suffer from emetophobia. i know this is a risky career choice for me but im fed up with letting my phobia ruin my life. if there is anyone on here with emetophobia in the forces id just like to know how you find coping with it in this line of work

Hi! Good on you for joining the Navy! I'm in the US Navy, have been for 6 years now. Been on 3 different ships, from a frigate to an aircraft carrier. I am an emet, haven't been sick in over 23 years. PM me if you have questions or want to chat.

my husband is in the Marine Corp. He doesnt care about vomit, but I freak out and always ask him if it is going around the office. I know when he goes over seas, they always seems to get something...but he doesnt! So that is a plus! Good luck!!!
