Wow this is cool - I always felt a bit dwarfed by the number of American members.

I'm 24 and live with my boyfriend who i've been with for just over a year and a half. I work as a marketing assistant for an architectural company but I am studying horticulture in my spare time.

I've had emet since i was about 15/16 and I don't really know what triggered it off except my mum has always had emet so it might be something to do with that - the sad thing is that i used to laugh at her about it.

Anyway I try not to let it affect me as much as I can and my emet has certainly got better in the last couple of years, so there's hope for everyone yet!

Phobias can be learnt from parents, Toyah. I think my mum suffered from emet (although she never said she did) and also from agoraphobia - I ended up with both [img]smileys/smilies_06.gif[/img]

Ahhh! now I know - I travel to scotland quite a lot beacuse I love the highlands. In fact went through glasgow in October.

Maybe next time I'm up I can say hi in person! I'll be the one in the massive american motorhome!!
