I do breathing techniques and it works wonders...I put one hand on my tummy and one on my chest and take 10 slow very deep breaths. This really helps.

Have my boyfriend rub my tummy

And the standard peppermints, ginger ale etc...

    I swear, this works wonders:

Hot tea with some ground ginger spice sprinkled in (about 1 tsp). It also "cures" period cramps.

It doesn't hurt to have a great movie on TV either

I try to take a relaxing bath. I also chew gum. My boyfriend will some times rub my tummy which helps me calm down. I also try to listen to soothing music and practice some breathing techniques. My breathing techniques helped wonders about2 years ago when I had a s/v and was on the verge of v*ing. I really believe they helped me 'keep' my v*ing streak going.
