    I have ti have a D&C on Friday. Has anyone ever had general anethesia and not v*?

    D & C, meaning Dilation and Curratage (sp)?


    If so, my sis had that done, and she was fine, just a little woozy and tired. She couldn't drive and needed me to drive her home.

    yes that's the one. I think it doesn't seem to be a procedure that makes you v*. Hopefully I will be so lucky. Thanks for your reply.

    I had that done. You can't drive, and walking isn't very fun--you just feel really exhausted and woozey. However, I wouldn't suggest over exerting yourself. I had mine done on a really hot day, and when I got out of the car and tried to walk up into my room (up a few flights of stairs), it made me feel really n*. No V* though.

    i have never been s* after a GA. i find i feel s* with nerves before, but i think they see how scared i am and give meeverything in the cupboards to stop me v*. lol, i make such a fool of myself in hospitals, i once ran off when i had gone in for a proceedure.

    I have had 5 surgeries in the past 1 1/2 year. And I never v* once. You'll be fine. Good luck let us know how it goes!
