Totally ridiculous question that won't leave my mind....

So, part of my nannying job is cleaning their house once a week, or as the Mom requests so nicely.
I was going about cleaning when I realized I was vacuuming the carpet that last week had gotten thrown up all over..... Did I suck up the particles left in the carpet and blow them right in my face via the exhaust tube? What are the odds of it getting me sick if it's even possible?

I'm no scientist, but I really doubt it. I don't think it would have blown particles at you, and as far as I know, the particles can't transfer germs after 72 hours. I'd say you're in the clear!
