    Hello All,

I was just wondering if any of you have had a inner ear infection and v* because of it. My grampa had one when I was younger and I had made him soup for lunch and he v* which was traumatizing. I am 25 and am afraid of developing one (I currently have a head cold) and want to knwo if having an inner ear infection means you will v* or will it just make you dizzy?

Some people do v* from inner ear infections but others do not. I am
an example of someone who does not. I have gotten a ton of ear
infections when I was a kid and in my teenage years and it mostly
just really hurt and made me dizzy upon standing.

I also have an inner ear problem so I get dizzy all the time and get
some vertigo and motion sickness galore!! so while I have a few
times felt n* I have not v* (knocks on wood) I have a good friend of
mine that had to have inner ear surgery and she was pretty s* and
v* a week or so after surgery but again everyone is different.

btw.. I too am struggling with a head cold at the moment. My head
colds usually turn into infections either sinus or ear. Hopefully not this
    time!
    Hope you feel better soon!

    Thanks Kristin!

I just needed to hear that it doesn't happen to everyone!
I am sorry to hear that you are suffering as well from this blasted head cold as well! I hope that mine is on its way out as I feel quite a bit better today.

I am actually in a audiology class and that is not a regular symptom. If
anything you are just kind of dizzy or experience vertigo if you have an
inner ear infection. Any ear infection needs to be taken care of.

    I hope you feel better!!
