Default Freezer door left partially open over night. HELP!!!

Last night I had fallen asleep on the couch watching TV. My husband must've, at some point, got some ice cream out of the freezer (I saw his bowl on the counter) and he did not shut the freezer door all the way, it was left open about an inch or two. I woke up about 2:45 am and went to get a drink of water and get in the bed. When I was in the kitchen I noticed the freezer door. My guess it was left that way for about 3.5 hours. I immediately opened it and checked everything. My meats were all frozen except for a roast I had JUST bought earlier in the day the top was a tad squishy but otherwise still frozen, my frozen vegetables had thawed some and all of my waffles and pancakes had thawed and were flimsy like if I had thawed them out. What should I do? Should I throw everything out? We can't afford to re grocery shop this week (I just went yesterday!) but of course I don't want to FP anyone or myself!!! HELP HELP HELP!!!

That happened to me once in the fridge, and I just shut it and everything was ok. Since most everything was frozen i think you should be fine.
If you try and tell me a phobia is unreal. I dare you to live a day, and feel what I have to feel.

I hope so. I decided to go ahead and finish thawing out one of the packages of meat and have it for dinner tonight. We can't afford to re buy all that meat and veggies.

IF you are worried about the roast then throw it away, cause it might not of had time to freeze. But the other things, Ive taken meat out of the freezer to put in the fridge to "thaw" and days later its still frozen solid. It should be fine!

The roast was frozen, I had went earlier in the day. Uhhhhh my husband always does this every so often. About a month 1/2 ago it was left open all night, I had to throw everything out and again, I had JUST gone shopping.
